Mark my words...
I don't care about objectivity...I hope Mark Lemelin never sets another foot on Central Hockey League ice. An absolutely embarrassing display from the man in the stripes. About the only thing I am thankful for is that there was a supervisor of officials on hand (unfortunately, it was not Wayne Bonney, but any clout is better than no clout). What a despicable way to end not only a great hockey game but the Scorpions' season.

What difference does an official make, they never change anything anyway, or say a ref is not doing his job. Lemon didn't even go to the goal Judge. He was his own Judge. Bad display of stripes.
Another knowledgeable observer I spoke to pointed out that Lemelin never explained his first washout to the off-ice officials...kinda ref-speak for "I screwed up"
my two words to describe last night... PISSED OFF !
Our boys got screwed over only to battle like hell to get another goal and get screwed all over again.
I hear he's reffing again tonight... god help him!
Ultimately it didn't matter, as Corpus won the game they needed. However, that game sucked. The refs certainly took a game away from us. Discounting the first goal over losing site of the puck is one thing, but to take the second goal away when it was clearly in the back of the net before the net was knocked off is ridiculous. It's frustrating that the CHL refs have no accountability. No one reviews controversial calls like that to be sure the call was correct. Stuff like that really needs to be reviewed before the game is called one way of the other. I realize we don't have goal cams, but there are enough cameras there that a decisions could be made. At least we destroyed Arizona on the next night. What a way to go out! Two shot handed goals on the same penalty kill! Go Scorps!
Its a nice game to play...
Thanks for sharing...
